Energy efficiency is still a relatively new and growing asset class in the green infrastructure and energy market. We have supported a leading investor in the space, Sustainable Development Capital LLP (SDCL), to raise the profile of energy efficiency and its CEO as the leading expert in the sector.

We have secured media profiles, op-eds and comments positioning SDCL and its CEO as a central thought leader in energy efficiency and the broader transition to net zero in the national media and broadcast including Sky News, Financial Times, Bloomberg TV, CNBC, Reuters TV, Wall Street Journal and The Times, as well as all key infrastructure trades and investment publications. We have also begun to reposition and deliver a radically different and ambitious multi-channel digital strategy aimed at significantly growing brand awareness and the profiles of senior management.

We have also advised SDCL’s listed investment trust SDCL Energy Efficiency Infrastructure Trust plc (SEEIT) since its £100m IPO in December 2018. We have executed a comms strategy to secure positive media coverage as it has regularly announced significant acquisitions in UK, Europe and US and returned to the market nine times to raise an additional £951m, many of which have been oversubscribed. SEEIT’s share price has traded at a significant premium to NAV for the vast majority of its listed life, which has been supported by mentions in share tip and investment columns.
