We started working with JC Flowers owned interactive investor (ii) in 2016, at which time the retail investment platform had less than £5bn of AUA and no in-house communications capability. Today, it is the UK’s second largest D2C investment platform, with over 400,000 customers and c.£55bn of AUA. Past and present activity includes:​

• Providing strategic comms advice on four significant transactions, including the P2P of Share PLC​

• Building relationships with key journalists and commentators​

• Supporting ii on campaigning initiatives to ensure greater market access for private investors ​

• Raising profile of CEO Richard Wilson (his share of voice was up 84% between September 2020 and May 2021 compared to the same period a year earlier, ahead of listed rivals Hargreaves Lansdown and AJ Bell)​

• Advising on FCA consultations, identifying, developing and placing news stories​

• Providing public affairs support (HM Treasury and 10 Downing Street)​

• Supporting on communications strategy for a dual track process: preparation for IPO and eventual £1.5bn sale to FTSE100 listed abrdn
