DEPUTY CHAIRMAN
Rob was most recently Head of Corporate Communications at international brewer, Scottish & Newcastle plc, and a key member of the defence team which secured an offer from the Carlsberg/Heineken syndicate that could be recommended to shareholders. He was directly involved in managing communications across international markets, working closely with the Investor Relations team.
Before joining S&N, Rob headed the group communications team for bus and rail operator, Stagecoach, while the transport group was expanding internationally, particularly in the US.
He worked for more than 20 years as a financial journalist and is a former Business Editor of The Times in London, where he worked for more than 15 years. He has also been Business Editor of the Scotsman and of The Sunday Times in Scotland.
Rob also heads up Cardew Group's business in Scotland. Clients include: Miller Group, C&C Group plc and NAB Clydesdale Bank.
