Smiths Group - John Crane subsidiary buys Orion Corporation in US

John Crane is buying Orion Corporation, a leading US-based designer and manufacturer of hydrodynamic bearings for energy and general industrial markets. The acquisition will complement and extend the existing business unit of John Crane Bearing Technology.
