In August 2008, Luton Airport handled 1.1m passengers, the busiest month in its history. Luton continues to add new destinations and airlines to its range of services, including current expansion by Ryanair, Wizz Air and transavia.com. Luton is the 5th largest UK airport ranked by passenger volume.
